How much does a custom home design project cost?+
Design fees vary depending on project scope, size, and complexity. We provide a detailed proposal after an initial consultation. Generally, residential design fees are calculated as a percentage of overall construction cost or on a fixed-fee basis. We’ll be transparent about pricing from day one.
How long does the design process typically take?+
Timelines depend on project scope. A conceptual plan might take 4–8 weeks. Full custom home design from concept through permit-ready documents typically spans 3–6 months. Renovations fall somewhere in between. We establish a clear schedule at the start of every project.
Do you work with my builder, or do I need to find one separately?+
We work with both. If you already have a builder, we coordinate closely with them throughout the design process. If you’re still looking, we can connect you with trusted builders in our network.
